I’m excited about your newsletter! I’ve been a music lover for as long as I can remember. I’ve learned the clarinet, piano and am trying to learn the dulcimer, but I have always wanted to play the violin and winning the grand prize would give me the opportunity to try!

Is it weird that I’d be more excited about winning the second place prize than first?
@Amy, are you learning lap dulcimer, or hammered? I picked up a hammered dulcimer last summer, and it’s a lot of fun to play. (I need to start working with it some more, though…have let myself get too busy lately…)

Mark, It’s a lap dulcimer, although I think the shop owner called it a mountain dulcimer. Not sure if there’s really a difference. I’ve been too busy to pick it up as well. Would like to get back to it.

I look forward to this! I used to play violin and then viola, although I have let my skills lapse. I keep thinking of picking up my instrument again. Maybe this will inspire me!

I would love to win the violin so I could give my current e-media violin to my son to start learning.

I would love to win first place! I have a love for the violin and everything about it absolutely excites me! I’m eager to learn how to play but I need a violin first and if I win, than I can be on my way to doing my best in becoming a excellent violinist!

I love to play the violin, almost been playing for 10 years, though I am in serious need of a nice bow that can do great things for my playing. Thanks. Fingers Crossed.
